We are one of the Sacramento areas premier training companies. We offer every level and aspect of dog training. Starting with puppies all the way to off leash obedience. Even working with more severe behavioral cases. We are a trusted training company with several years of experience and many satisfied and happy clients. Enrolling your dog in my board and train program will not only give you the relationship reboot you may be looking for but also give you a head start to correcting bad behaviors.
Our board and train program gives you the head start you need to enjoy life with your dog – imagine being out to a cafe with your best furry friend laying with you. Or having a repair man over without your dog going nuts. Enjoying a vacation with your pet in tow! Our program will help get you there.

We specialize in helping you as the owner become the leader that your dog needs. Giving you the tools to create the structure and guidance that is necessary for a healthy relationship.
At K9’s In Harmony we specialize in low-level, communication-style E-Collar training. Our training approach gives you the ability to have a fully trained reliable dog, with stress free walks, as well as a great relationship and a dog you can enjoy everywhere.
Our training focuses on changing your dog’s mindset. We want to help your dog to learn to be calm through all situations they encounter– whether you’re having company over, out to dinner, or encountering another dog. We want to give your dog the confidence to embrace all situations with a calm mindset and relaxed demeanor.
The Programs
We pride ourselves on an intimate-style program. By keeping our program small and numbers low (2 dogs) we are able to devote more one-on-one time with each dog. We are able to create an individual plan to suite each dogs needs and abilities with the very best results possible.
In all programs greater than two weeks, your dog will be introduced to these commands during their stay:
- Walking politely on leash in a calm manner
- Sit, Down and Place with duration
- Recall/ Come
- Waiting at Thresholds (doors, crates, cars, etc.)
- Crate
- Waiting for Food at meal time
One Week Program
This is designed to be topic-specific to address a single behavior such as walking politely on leash, sit or down, and coming when called. No behavioral issues will be addressed.
Also available as a refresher for previous program attendees.

Two Week Program
Our two-week program is for dogs with minimal issues, owners looking to get a head start on training their young dogs (6-8 months) and great foundation for the basics. Your dog will be introduced to all behaviors listed above and conditioned on an ecollar.

Three Week Program
Everything included in the two week program, plus:
The three-week program is dogs over 9 months and is great for minor behavioral issues such as pulling on leash, jumping on people, door dashing or other impulsive behaviors.
This program is designed to have your dog at an advanced obedience level and a solid state of mind.

Behavior Modification 4/5/6 weeks.
Our four-week and beyond program includes all the above behaviors and focuses on more severe behavioral problems. We are able to address more serious and all forms of unwanted behavior such as:
- Food and/ or Resource Guarding
- Separation Anxiety
- Reactivity on Leash
- Human or Dog Aggression

Program details
Our 1 week program includes one owner session at the end of training and one follow up session.
All other programs include over 4 hours of one-on-one training/coaching for you the Owner; a 30-minute drop off meeting at our home; a 45-60 minute owners preparation call before your dog goes home; two 90-minute owner training sessions at the end of the program at our home, where we will transfer all the details, methods and a plan to ensure your success; a 60-minute post-training follow up at our location or yours (within one hour of our location); and lifetime email/phone/virtual support after the program.
Each program includes a copy of the book “Love them by Leading Them” by Sean O’Shea, a 15-ft long line for continuing the program at home, and a Herm Sprenger Prong Collar, as well as our Owner’s Manual.
*Price includes an Educator E-Collar – which range from $180 to $220, depending on your dog’s size. We will purchase this for you during your dogs stay.
