Let’s get started. Your future self (and furniture) will thank you.

What We Teach:

Puppy Manners: Sit, stay, come, etc- yes, even when squirrels are around. Teaching basic puppy manners is a great way to start building a well-behaved and happy dog. We start  training puppies young as it is crucial because puppies are most impressionable during their early development stages, think 8-16 weeks. We also believe in teaching young puppies the importance of impulse control and waiting for permission for things such as being released from the crate, going through doorways/ gate/ cars, and waiting to eat meals. These life skills are critical.

Potty Training Success: Fewer messes, more happy dances. We like to implement a routine or schedule into our puppy training and potty training is no different. We want our little furry friends to succeed, so by implementing schedule for rest, play and potty breaks we insure a higher success rate and quicker route to a fully potty trained puppy.

Play Nice: Social skills for polite playdates and public outings. Let’s face it we don’t like getting bear hugs from complete strangers and dogs are no different. So by helping our pups master the art of polite greetings and calm interactions they will be much happier. We also want to help our pups focus on our bond versus making friends with every passerby -dog or human.

Bite Control: Because your fingers aren’t chew toys. Let’s face it. Puppies can be tiny pterodactyls. And none of us wan to lose a finger, or ruin our favorite blouse, and let’s not talk about the corner of the couch with stuffing coming out.  Redirecting biting works… until it doesn’t. Puppies need to learn that their actions have consequences and that biting is not appropriate. This is where my favorite command comes into play- NO!  Once this word is given meaning (typically pair with a quick correction) it is so versatile!  This can also be helpful with jumping on people.
